Comfortable, soft and warm. I didn't like the buttons, but since they only mask snaps, they were easily cut off and replaces with a more neutral color.

Fabric wise I can't say enough -- it's just wonderful. Soft and warm, and not bulky. But the cut isn't particularly feminine, and they run quite a bit big.

What a beautiful sweater! The quality is high, the yarn used is luxuriously soft and I feel so blissfully cozy in this one. It drapes beautifully, is forgiving, and very flattering. The larger snap buttons are a nice touch. I especially love the collar--Very flattering neckline. The oatmeal color is very natural fiber looking--beautiful. Makes me want to get the blue one as well. I generally always wear a large in everything, but had to return this one for the medium--a very rare occurrence for me. I do not have the smallest arms or chest (38C) either, and I still sized down. I thought maybe I could even use an S (!), but I'm 5'8" and I figured going that small might start getting weird looking in the overall length of the sweater, and of the sleeves. Can't wait till the snow flies our way this year, in Colorado. I'm looking forward to slipping into this knitted lovely.

I appreciate this sweater because it is soft, a neutral color, and all-cotton. It is very casual; I know I will wear it a lot. Might change the buttons.

The sweater is really nice. It is well made, and the yarn is very soft. Even though I would say the sweater "bulk" is medium, it is really lightweight.
Don't order a size larger. I wear a size 4-6, so ordered a Small. It fit well without being too tight.

Love this sweater! Fits true to size and the sleeves fit my long arms.

About ALPS

Among some of the most resourceful religious dissidents on record, the Shakers invented the clothespin, the steam-powered washing machine, and the extravagantly textured “shaker” knits that were among the first sweaters produced by ALPS sportswear. Today the ALPS clothing line still produces shaker-inspired knits and other distinctive patterns -- old-fashioned and new --that continue to delight customers loyal to the ALPS brand. From shawl collars and cardigans to chunky-knit vests, ALPS clothing uses novelty yarns spun from cotton, wool, and alpaca -- soft, natural clothing pieces that satisfy the need for cozy top layers and quiet reflection.
