A great bag for my backpacking needs. My son and I needed a tent sized bag to eliminate loose items and the large size is perfect, durable, and STP priced!

  • “What size ALPS stuff sack would fit a Slumberjack Lapland -20 sleeping bag? Specs I found are "Stuff sack size 16" X 11"."”
Asked by Scout Mom from NJ on 1/19/2017 5:53:35 AM
    • I would suggest finding one that fits the specs of 16" x 11" that you listed.

According to information listed under the product Overview/Specs tab:
      Dimensions: 11" dia.

  • “How many pulls does this bag have?

One reviewer said it had 3, but I have not yet seen a bag with only 3 and am worried it won't compress as well as a typical 4 strap compression sack.”
Asked by Sarah the winter camper from Montana on 1/28/2015 10:43:24 AM
    • The stuff sack has four straps, it will compress down pretty well depending on what type of bag you are putting in it. I have a very large synthetic down bag that I can compress down to a normal size sack.
Answered on 1/28/2015 11:31:04 AM by Tito Jackson from Colorado
    • That is incorrect answer.

This sack has 4 pulls. I packed my sleeping bags into them last night for this weekend. I have 3 of these.

  • “Will an Alps Mountaineering -20 Echo Lake Long Mummy Sleeping Bag as in Item #3233U fit in this Large Compression Sack?______

If so, doable with moderate ease or will I probably get a Hernia with my attempts of doing so?________”
Asked by Frequent Shopper from Michigan Great Lake State on 6/23/2013 5:03:15 AM
    • hey I have a -20 alps long and it barely fits in a granite gear 2xl - 50L -20 is 7lb 14oz. so to answer your question, probably not, plus my wife has a 0 alps long and it barely fits in the alps medium bag.

alps doesn't make a bag big enough even the XL and it wont fit...I have tried it.

Asked by Caleb from Georgia on 4/25/2013 3:09:09 PM
    • The stuff size for your North Face bag is 8"x20" a medium compression stuff sack should suffice.
