5.0 out of 5 stars. No slouch!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Take a Breath from Rocky Mountain foothills on Friday, March 29, 2019Most folding camping/patio chairs I've sat in have no appreciable back support and are therefore uncomfortable. But this one lets me sit up straight with just enough give. Yay! It is also sturdy and roomy enough to sit on cross-legged. Not the lightest chair out there and the two-tone color is a bit odd, but that's okay.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice chairVerified Buyer Reviewed by soccermom from Bethesda MD on Wednesday, August 1, 2018This chair is best for car camping, as it is rather heavy. The back support is pocketed at the ends, which prevents the back piece from slipping down the top poles (a problem with director's chairs of similar design.) The back piece is positioned correctly in the lumbar region, and the chair is comfortable to sit upon. It says it holds up to 375 pounds - my XLT husband has no trouble relaxing in it. I would think a more useful description of limitations would be based upon the girth of the person, as someone who was 375 pounds might not fit between the arms.

5.0 out of 5 stars. HEAVY duty...Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Greater Boston on Tuesday, July 17, 2018This thing will accommodate 350 lbs. I had no idea it was such a wide chair nor did I know it was so heavy. It was a spontaneous purchase because it was on sale, for my 120 lb. wife. Too big and heavy for her. I will give it to someone who can use it. For what it is, it is a great thing. A wide and a half folding chair. Don't plan on hefting it too far.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Heavy but just what I wantedVerified Buyer Reviewed by OldClimber from Jackson Hole, Wyoming on Thursday, September 3, 2015The name, "Director's chair" is misleading. it is just a normal-height chair, NOT taller like we envision a Director's chair. It is well made, sturdy, and comfortable. It is a bit stiff to fold up, but works well after a good strong pull. (You face the chair, grasp the sides of the seat, and pull them up). My only complaint is that the chair is heavy, due to the steel frame. Carrying 2 would be a chore for this little old lady.

5.0 out of 5 stars. High Quality!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Guide's Wife from E. Washington on Wednesday, June 24, 2015I bought these for the motorhome because they fold up and yet are very sturdy and have great back support. I like them so much I got more for my parents who have trouble getting up out of most camp chairs. These are stiffer construction, and you can push off with your arms to get up. They look great, and are half the price of comparable chairs at Cabelas.

5.0 out of 5 stars. sturdy chairVerified Buyer Reviewed by Gail the camper from Honolulu, HI on Thursday, June 18, 2015The chair is sturdy, stiff, and substantial. I like the chair since it won't topple, is wide bodied, and is very reasonable.
