Looks very sturdy

The big disadvantage to this is that you have to completely disassemble it to put it away. I once had another cot of similar design, but you could leave the side poles in place, making it a heck of a lot easier to assemble and disassemble. The first assembly took some time because the fabric needs to be stretched a little to get the side poles in, but I assume after the first couple uses that will not be a problem. I haven't used it yet - I plan to use it with a foam pad because I think I would freeze from underneath without one. I don't see that it sits too close to the ground - it will fit in the tent better at this height. The side poles look to be solid aluminum (rather than tubing) and are probably very resistant to bending out of shape.
