It's a very nice, stable, and light table. But it is hard to fold the accordion top and wrestle everything back into the storage bag. It is much larger than I thought it would be, I wished I would have checked the measurements better before I ordered. However, it might be nice to have the extra sp... Read More

this very sturdy, quick setup, right size table is great. It should last a long time. Great- We got one of the last ones for now but grab one if they come back on.

This is my second table. I've had the other for over 5 years and love it. It's light weight and easy to pack up. Two things I would like to see changed is the end plastic pieces because they come off easily and can get lost. The other is the hardware to collapse the table..........very lightweight and can bend if you're not careful. That being said, I still love it.

This table is to be used on our deck and for camping. Easy set up, take down, goes in nice carry bag. 4 stars as it came missing 2 plastic end caps on 2 of the slats, which we need to report to STP. Design good for sitting under without bumping any supports. Stable to eat at. Could see shock cords failing with table out in AZ sun eventually. Suits our purposes now.

Great table, easy to assemble. I've used it going out to the barrier islands along the Gulf Coast. Very sturdy. Only downside is the legs don't fold, so you have a 48" long bag for the legs and the table top rolled up in the bottom of the bag. Other than that, it's a great table.

  • “Regarding studiness of product: Do you consider cast iron dutch ovens standard camping cook tools? Comments on the smaller version indicate it's not that sturdy. Wouldn't larger mean less stable?”
Asked by Cairns Rule from Indiana on 12/2/2010 12:00:00 AM
    • It is a reasonably sturdy table, especially if you make sure it's set up on a good ground spot. Several people have been very pleased with this table and it will be able to hold a dutch oven.

    • Cast iron is only for car or horse camping, very heavy. Almost impossible to break, does rust, generally larger means wider and thus more stable, but except for dealing with the lid I've never had one tip or turn over if it has a flat bottom. Which is the kind to have, so you can use it anywhere. They cook great.

  • “The product description shows that the table is 55" long when folded. Is this a misprint, or is it really that long folded up?”
Asked by Anonymous from Portland on 11/12/2010 12:00:00 AM
    • This is the XL version and the length when folded is 55" long.
Answered on 11/16/2010 12:00:00 AM by Customer Care from Sierra Trading Post
    • I think it is. There is one very long piece when folded up and the the much shorter aluminum slats. It comes in a nylon bag- but is unbalanced to carry.
Answered on 12/6/2010 12:00:00 AM by linda from Raleigh, NC
  • “Is this table really 55" when folded? Doesn't seem to make sense being the width is only 28" and that is how the table top appears to fold. Does the table top support NOT fold in half?”
Asked by T.Lew from Orange County, CA on 11/2/2010 12:00:00 AM
    • The table does not fold in half and that is the length of the table.
