This light weight cot which packs into a small bag weighs just under 5 pounds--the lightest cot I could find. • Amazingly compact.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Relaxing from NC on Monday, June 4, 2018
I would not want to carry this on a backpacking trip, but for car camping it's great. Very compact and everything fits easily in the carry bag. My husband set it up first and had a little trouble but it wasn't a big deal. The I set it up and found it very hard to get the long poles tucked into the sleeve. It's very easy to slide the poles in, but then you have to pull the lip of the sleeve over the end to get it to stay, and that's that hard part. With 2 people it's not too bad but we found it very difficult with just one person ( unless the one person happened to have 4 hands). As far as comfortable, my husband is a back sleeper and thought it was great. I am a side sleeper and thought it was comfortable. Granted, I put a thin ground pad on top of the cot too, but I did sleep well, much better than on a ground pad on the ground.
  • Great cot, but need muscle!

Have used twice so far, gets a little easier each time - but you definitely need some muscle to get the legs on. Once thats accomplished it's great! Good sleep, comfortable and amazingly light and small for packing which is why I purchased it.

It did require some strength to pop the bottom pieces of the frame into place but otherwise it was easy to assemble. The cost was more than similar cots that were quite a bit heavier. I am not sure about its durability but should find out when I assemble and take it apart for 6 nights in a row on the tour.
