pretty good 1 design flaw

[...]I can not comment on durability as I just received the product. Plan on using on some river trips and as spare beds for company. The one design flaw has to do with the inflation valves, I wonder if the people at alps have ever used an inflated pad? The valves are at the feet instead of up by the head. I and most of the people I know let the mattress self inflate then add more air then when they lay on the pad open a valve and slowly let air out until you have achieved your "sleep number". Yes, you can lay down with your feet on the pillow portion and let air out, then reposition, easy enough to do but in a tent still an unnecessary hassle.
