Great Price, Nice pad

This obviously isn't a backpacking pad, it's big and thick and weighs a bit more than you're likely to want to carry if you're going to do a lot of vertical. That said, if you want to have a great, comfortable night's sleep, you'll miss this big, thick pad a LOT. It is probably closer to 2.5" thick than the advertised three inches, but it is definitely long and wide enough for anyone. The foam has the ideal firmness, not too soft but firm enough you won't feel small pebbles and such underneath. If you move a lot in your sleep, you won't fall off this pad, and the built in "pillow" is certainly better than none. Add a rolled up jacket in the stuff sack, and you've got it made. Durable looking material, dual inflation valves and a big enough stuff sack to keep you from swearing when you put it away. Pretty much perfect for casual camping, hunting camp, boat campers or anyone who's not trying to save every ounce of weight.
