3"! Probably more loft than needed but the additional weight is negligible. (Still, if I were backpacking I might have choosen 2" instead.) Is as comfortable as a real bed matress, more comfortable (and quieter) than an air matress.

Material appears to be durable. Color is nice and neutal. The velcro to join or separate the two parts of the matress is a wonderful idea and makes me wonder why all doubles aren't designed this way.

It's self-inflating, which means easy set-up but slow and tedious deflating and packing. (Now if any manufacturer were to design a pad with check valve that could aid in deflating, they could corner the market in pads.)
