Best self-inflating pad for the money, period.

I've used this pad for dozens of nights camping. If you follow the suggested storage and maintenance guidelines and store it laid out flat, but with the valve open, it will self inflate within 10-20min when you pitch camp. Then just close the valve and you're all set, though I usually do a bit of adjusting once I get in my sleeping bag, letting out a bit of air to get just the right conformity to my back for sleeping. Is it a king-sized pillowtop? No. But it's tremendously more comfortable than the solid foam pads, and not a whole lot more expensive here at STP.

The only complaint I can find with this is the carry size. It's not prohibitive, but I hike with a big external frame pack, so I may have more flexibility to pack this than some folks with smaller, slimmer internals. It's a fully 20" long when rolled, and about 4-5" diameter. It will easily strap to the bottom of my pack, or stand up along one side of the main compartment if I don't want it external. The kind which fold in half might be easier to carry, but they're generally not as thick as this one inflated, or they don't inflate well (based on what I've see from other Scout Dads on our troop hikes).

That's one more plus for this pad - it's Scout tested (for over two years by my son) and we have zero complaints.
