Decent Tent

For me, this tent is a one person with reasonable gear tent.

I have used the tent for one weekend with Boy Scouts (set up once). First night temperature dropped to just below freezing. The tent was cold but most tents would have been.

Second night was warmer but damper. Definite condensation on the inside. I probably could have opened the vents in the fly for better circulation but since I was cold the first night, I kept them closed for warmth.

I bought this tent for the size of the vestibules as they are described as about the largest I've seen for a 2 man tent. The triangle shape of the vestibules meant the area was not quite as useable as I hoped. caveat - this is my first tent with vestibules so I probably had unrealistic expectations.

As I've seen in other reviews (maybe on other sites) the floor feels very thin so definitely need a footprint of some kind to reduce wear.

Minor point that may prove major - the bottom edge of the fly at the foot end of the tent droops into contact with the side of the floor/bathtub. I am concerned that this may cause water to seep through the material during a storm. I plan on adding my own tab to attach a short guy to pull away the edge of the fly. Coincidentally the tent came with an extra short guy that I can't figure out where it belongs.
