Went above my expectations

A friend of mine brought this tent along on a weekend backpacking trip for him and his dog. after seeing it i had a few preconceived idea's which turned out to be wrong. One of which was its "comfortability" as a 2p tent. i had thought of it as a perfect 1.5p however as it turns out it makes a great "transitional" tent. What i mean by that is its small enough for a comfortable 1p without the feeling of a lot of wasted space and large enough that i didn't feel my space was being invaded with a second person at night. Now as far as weight goes its not the lightest 2 person out there but for a little over [$] who cares. I say "heavy" only because i'v been using a BD Superlight tent for a few years so if compared to most normal backpacking tents in that price range its actually average. Some of the "unnecessary" weight i think comes from the tent fly which feels more like plastic then ultra light tent cloth but again for a little over [$] what do you expect. So if your on a budget and still want a great backpacking tent this is it. it's my new favorite 2 person tent!
