In my search for a tent I started out looking at the North Face, and Mountain Hardwear, but when it came down to it, I felt that 200 dollars for a tent should not be my only option. I researched this tent and the company itself and found that it is a family owned company from Missouri. And in this economy I felt that my money should go to the small businesses. This tent is great. Waterproof, and comfortable. It sleeps two pretty tight but as long as your close with your sleeping partner you'll be fine. I've used this tent car camping and I'll be using it in the Smokies in July. All and all, this product was just what I was looking for. Cheap, well constructed, and the design itself was thoughout. I will be using more of Alps Mountaineering products more and more. Great product!
