Great deal for a budget tent

I got this with a coupon for $108. At that price it is an amazing deal. But this tent should be thought of as a budget quality tent. If you use this tent in the rain, you will get a little wet. It wont be a lot. But its good to be prepared for if you're camping in a wet climate. The zippers on the rain fly leak. After a full night of rain I was getting a constant dribble on both sides of the tent. It wasnt enough to soak my sleeping bag. But I would be worried if I were camping for more than a day in steady rain. You will also get rain in the tent whenever entering and exiting. The walls of the tent are at steep angles. And the doors to the rain fly extend from the ground to directly above you if you're laying down in the tent. So if you open the rainfly door, any rain will fall directly into almost the center of the tent. Unless you have a vestibule, getting rain inside your tent when opening the fly is almost unavoidable. But its good to be aware of.

The interior of the tent feels much smaller than the dimensions say. I have a 3-person, 4 season tent, that has smaller listed measurements than this one. But this tent feels much smaller inside. It could be from the steep angles of the side walls making some of the floor space unusable. There is still plenty of space for two people to sleep comfortably. But I was expecting more space after reading the specifications online.

With all of that said and done. This is still a great tent for the price! It's a great summer tent with its all mesh walls. It's fairly lightweight. And unless you're going to be in it for long stretches of rain, you will enjoy it.
