I haven't worn this out yet but it fits well -- relaxed fit but also flattering. Nice weight knit, really feels hand-made, good quality. I might change the 3 buttons for one big button (there's a single snap so you only need one button).

About ALPS

Among some of the most resourceful religious dissidents on record, the Shakers invented the clothespin, the steam-powered washing machine, and the extravagantly textured “shaker” knits that were among the first sweaters produced by ALPS sportswear. Today the ALPS clothing line still produces shaker-inspired knits and other distinctive patterns -- old-fashioned and new --that continue to delight customers loyal to the ALPS brand. From shawl collars and cardigans to chunky-knit vests, ALPS clothing uses novelty yarns spun from cotton, wool, and alpaca -- soft, natural clothing pieces that satisfy the need for cozy top layers and quiet reflection.
