Verified Buyer Reviewed by Nancy from Washington on Wednesday, May 6, 2015Most goggles are uncomfortable around the eyes for me. These are better in that regard, but they do leak. They are fine if you're just doing the breast stroke, but the side to side motion while doing the crawl allows water to seep in. They do provide a clear vision.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by BeaufortLevel12 from San Francisco on Tuesday, July 1, 2014I stopped swimming two years ago because I was getting massive swelling and discoloration under my eyes after wearing regular goggles. I tried several different types but finally gave up as I read that once you get into your mid-late forties the delicate tissue around the eyes can easily be injured. I didn't want to look 10-15 years older than I am and the effect lasted for many WEEKS following my last swim. It was pretty scary. Then I found these on Amazon and read really good reviews. My first trial swim I swam about half the time I usually do (25 minutes) and I was thrilled to see just a single line across my forehead and over the bridge of my nose, which faded away very quickly. No negative impact on my eyes whatsoever! They do leak. I am still working on adjustments in the hope that I won't have to fiddle so much with them during a swim but, in either case, I would rather have a little water seep in then risk injuring my eyes. I bought a second pair. The mental and physical benefits of swimming are so great I was really sad when I had to quit - now I have my favorite way to work out and meditate back.
