These towels are very soft and absorbent and a nice size for camping or taking to the gym. They may seem too small at first, but they absorb a lot, so they don't need to be big. They do create a lot of static cling if put into a dryer, but they dry on their own fast enough that you shouldn't need to... Read More

    • It is not a waffle type, it is a very tightly woven microfiber fabric with bound edges that dry quickly, too.

    • No, it is not the "waffle" type. It is quite fluffy for this kind of towel but not "waffle".

  • “How does this compare to the Aquis Adventure Towel?”
Asked by CG from Massachusetts on 2/2/2010 12:00:00 AM
    • Both of these towels holds more water, absorbs faster, lasts longer and dries quicker than normal towels. The major difference between the Adventure and the Sports towel is that the Adventure package is a little more compact, it also has a loop on it to hang it to dry. They perform the same though and are both great travel pieces to have with!

About Aquis

Aquis towels and robes have seen incredible success despite lacking a traditional terry knit. Who would have guessed that Aquis’ synthetic microfiber would trump conventional cotton terry in terms of softness and absorbency? That’s why Aquis towels, turbans, robes and body mitts are becoming popular alternatives to terry towels. Every Aquis towel is woven from the company’s unique Aquitex® microfiber, a technology that renders Aquis towels and bath turbans ultra-light, quick drying and durable, making them great for travel, sports, the gym and even pet baths. Women suffering from split ends and other hair damage appreciate the performance of Aquis turbans, designed to gently absorb excess hair moisture and shorten time under the blow dryer. Aquis chenille robes, wraps and slippers also make great spa companions because of their absorbent, quick-drying tendencies. Also, be sure to bring along any desired cosmetics and personal items in an Aquis toiletry bag.
