In fact it has knot strength similar to more expensive lines. I fish most often in cold weather with ice flowing as well as along both sides of the streams and this line holds up exceptionally well in these conditions.

I met the developers of ARC at the Denver Fly Fishing Show and they indicated that their tippet is manufactured in Japan just as the more expensive brands. I also like the fact that 10 more yards of line are loaded onto each spool.
