Arche Savoy Sandals (For Women)

Closeouts. Buttery-soft nubuck leather and a cushioned, contoured footbed caress the feet that slide into Arche's Savoy sandals, while the richly hued geometric upper stuns.

I bought a couple of pair of Arches in preparation for a trip after they were highly recommended by a person whose taste is impeccable. I bought the recommended size in these and the ballet flats. The flats fit very comfortably but these were huge and are going back. I'm not sure I would even bother with trying a lower size if they were available because they had an overall loose feel that I'm not sure would improve with a shorter foot bed.

I found these sandals to be a little narrow through the toe area. Unfortunately, I did not realize this until after I had worn them for a little while.

I love Arches- the flexible rubber sole allows healthy foot movement with a medium amount of support. I have found numerous pairs on sale over the years and only about half the time they fit in the toe box of my wide-toed feet, half the time they are narrow up front/ top front. These feel great and I did take STP advice to size down to a 38 even though I am a wide 7.5 US. I got the copper and it is far less metallic than pic shows- look for them online and other sites pic color are far more accurate (called copper but also called "pepita" on box and some other sites) This leads me to suspect that the red, shown here as slightly dark red, would actually be a very bright red shown on other sites. The copper is really a nut brown with a very subtle metallic tint that only shows metallic in certain light, maybe like a non-shiny penny kind of copper. I do wish the elastic strap were adjustable, however it is comfortable and hasn't left marks on my feet after a few hours of test wearing
