Close fitting but not too tight ensures warmth while maintaining a pleasing aesthetic. I'm currently using this as a mid layer so I can't speak to it as an outer shell. I would estimate upper thirties to forties provided your active and this would give decent warmth.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by sfthriller from san francisco on Tuesday, March 1, 2016I've owned the Epsilon Hoodie since it first came out but saw the jacket version and decided it would be nice to have this in my collection as well. I just spent the last four nights in Yosemite and wore this jacket practically the entire time. It's DWR finish repelled water beautifully as I hiked the mist trail. As the temps dropped, I zipped it up and closed the pockets (they are meshed lined and allow ventilation) to trap in my body heat. Sitting by the fire a long sleeve button up and this jacket were perfect.
This jacket is little baggier than previous versions. And the sleeves seem to be cut a little longer. I'm 5'11 168lbs.
