Verified Buyer Reviewed by Hiker49 from California on Thursday, January 12, 2017Good quality hiking pants. Waist size fits large - I need to have a belt to keep the pants from slipping below my hips.
Reviewed by AthleticFeminine from New York City on Monday, January 9, 2017Size 0 has 22-1/2" crotch (from top of waistband in front to top of waistband in back) and hips roughly 35" which is comfortable with base layer leggings underneath during backpacking. For someone 5'3" 110lbs who usually wears 2P, these fit well except for the waist which is so huge it'll need to be taken in. Waist on pants measures apx 30-1/2" (quite big for size 0!); inseam measures apx 32-1/2" long (very tall for a size 0). It's a great deal on these pants if you don't mind altering waist and perhaps hemming them. I like the fit (except for waist), the sleek pocket embedded in the side seam knee and the UPF sun protection. Even pale greenish Odhran color is fine. Good deal on sale!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Lisa from Seattle on Tuesday, December 13, 2016Fits great and the right size. The fabric stretch makes these very comfortable. I've been wearing them all the time but they will make great travel/hiking pants.
Reviewed by UpATrail from Colorado on Tuesday, November 15, 2016They're loud, i hated them the first day. And they fit a tad odd i thought but they are functional, pockets works well-better than most because of the generous cut that makes the fit odd. Wore em to work after initial hike, nose was much less bothersome (work's loud tho trails aren't) and i was happy my work gloves stayed put in my pockets for a change. Overall great buy.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Maggie from North Carolina on Tuesday, August 30, 2016I wear these pants to work as a physical therapist. They are super flexible, easy to move in, and provide full coverage with deep squatting. I would wear these every day if I had more of them. Will definitely keep my eye out on STP for more.

“Anyone have a sense for how different the Blue Smoke and Gray are, color-wise? I have a blue smoke which I LOVE, and would like a second pair, but not sure if the grey would actually be much different!”
They are pretty similar, though the grey is much darker.
“I am interested in the size 12, but the sizing chart shows only S, M, L, XL. To which does size 12 correspond?”
The Sierratrading post website has a hard to notice drop down box under the general sizes which allows you to select a size 12.
