I thought this would be perfect! It is a great belt for toppping tunics, sweaters, dresses...the buckle grabs all of the attention at first, but then one notices the beautifully patterned studded trim. The combination of a wide belt and a massive (although not excessively heavy) buckle might be a bit too overwhelming on very slender, petite women but IMO would suit most average to statuseque figures. Very happy with my purchase--looks like I spent a lot, but I didn't...a lot of bang for my buck!

More for decoration. does not function as a real belt to help hold up your pants because it is very wide and can't fit in average belt loop. sending it on to my mom because she thinks the belt loop holes in her carpenter jeans may be oversized enough to wear it. anyways the belt buckle alone is nice enough to keep the belt for even if it doesn't work out otherwise
