HARD TO FIND - Fabulous Boot. Generally not available in USA. Don't miss it.

I'd been wanting to find a source of this boot ever since I saw it on Asolo's HDQTS/Italy site. No luck, until this small lot came into STP. I have a 1000+ miles on my 1st Asolo a Power Matic 200 GV (see review on Trailspace). We're getting into more rocky climbs and I wanted a mountaineering boot that is even a step stiffer and more burly than the PM 200. This is that boot. It's heavy yes, but that's where the Hummer like strength comes from needed to protect you on rocky climbs. Amazing to me it is very comfortable right out of the box and walks about the same as the PM 200, but with more strength and stiffness. So far I feel that this is going to be an EPIC boot for me! I got my boot here at STP in this same sales lot. I've started a review on Trailspace.com. Aconcaqua uses the same Micro Pulley lace system as the PM series. So be sure to see my review on that boot too. I have over 1000 miles on the original laces and they still feel young. IF you want a light weight boot, THIS IS NOT IT. If you want protection and tackling tough stuff, this is it. The Medium is like most other boot brand's narrow in that they have a Medium+ toe box, but a narrower heel, and low volume foot feel. If typical Solomon and Lowa, and Asolo TP 520 Medium boots fit with a little too much side wiggle room. Then this boot, Fugitive and most of the Power Matics might be for you!
