Old school meets nano-science

They look like the alpining boots from the 1940's and 50's. Rugged yet refined, sleek, form fitting and even a bit sexy, yet still masculine. But these throwbacks have hidden modern technology, like gore tex linings, vibram soles and orthiotic footbeds. I love these boots, because they are light and flexible enough to wear anytime, just around town. But they are truly trailworthy for light day hiking, camping, etc. I would'nt choose these for weeks on the trail with a heavy pack, but other wise, they are a magnificent blending of function and looks. If you wan't the big, heavy Frankenstein waffle-stomping, clunky hiking boots, these ain't it....these are the Porsche's of the hiking boots.
