Light, Strong, Form Fitting

I love these boots because they bridge the gap between a sneaker or approach shoe and a full-on hiking boot. They are very light which is great for those of us with thrashed knees, but they have wonderful ankle support. The retro alpinist lace-to-the-toe style makes a custom style form fit very easy to achieve. They do have, if anything a relatively weak nylon shank in them, but since I use Superfeet insoles it is not an issue for me.
