  • “i just bought a pair of 11, but seems i should wear 10.5...
any suggestion for me to fit these shoes?
Asked by vince hk from hongkong on 3/24/2014 1:59:00 AM
    • My feet actually created an opposite scenario. I normally wore in between 11.5 and 12.0. 12.0 fit better. I wear medium thick socks with no probs. keep an eye on toe box rubber. Mine started to break down for some mysterious reason on first pair after 3 months. Returned to stp, got credit, ordered a 2nd pair, and no probs so far after 2 months

    • I first went to an outdoor store which carried Asolo boots. Not this exact model and tried them on. I then ordered my first pair with no problems. I typically wear 11.5 and found them true to size.

    • Take out the ASOLO insole and put in and put in a thin one ( like from a hi tec shoe)

  • “Are these seconds?”
Asked by savagehiker from Illinois on 3/1/2014 2:06:42 PM
    • If you mean seconds as in used then no they are not.

    • I don't think so. They were sparkly new right out of the box.

  • “Are these seconds?”
Asked by savagehiker from Illinois on 3/1/2014 2:06:26 PM
    • The shoes I received and have since returned were great looking and did not appear to have any errant stitches or anything that would define them as seconds. They were great looking but for me the toe box was too small around the second and third little toe and I knew on a long hike I would get battered toes.

    • I don't know the answer, but if they are seconds, they are better that most firsts. Derf from Washington

  • “I usually wear size 10.5 boots, so I bought a size 10.5 pair of Sasslongs. They felt a little big, so I exchanged them for a size 10 pair, which were the right size. I'm exchanging the Sasslongs fr FSN 95s for a number of reasons, but I need to know: what size should I get? The Sasslongs ran a little big, do the FSN 95s also run a little big?”
Asked by woknam66 from Maryland on 10/1/2013 4:13:26 PM
    • I think the size 10 should be what you want.

  • “I just bought some Sasslongs from STP, but they're a little too tall for me. I'm looking for something about 1-1.5 inches shorter, is that about how tall the FSN95s are?”
Asked by woknam66 from Maryland on 9/29/2013 5:25:35 PM
    • They are only a half inch shorter than the Sasslongs.
