3.0 out of 5 stars. Very light, not great constructionReviewed by Jeffrey from calif on Tuesday, January 26, 2021I did a test walk of about 8 miles mix of hard packed trails and some pavement. Crease in the lining produced a hot spot within 30 minutes. Sewing on the tongue ends with a knot that presses directly on the the inside of the the ankle that juts out.
Construction overall seems sloppy. Nice to have a lighter pair of boots but I don't think they will last very long. It's hard for me to imagine the retail price on these is $220. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Great lightweightsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Eastern hiker from NY on Tuesday, July 21, 2020Wore for a 4 mile break in hike..the next day left for 4 days , 35 mile hike in the ADK. Lots of rock, roots and mud. Comfortable boot right out of the box. Surprised that non vibram soles were very grippy . Could see the build difference between these and my son's neutrons but not much. Very pleased at price point

5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent BootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Tim from So California on Friday, July 3, 2020This is my second pair of Asolo boots. They are so comfortable I wear them daily. I’m on my feet all day at work and these boots help my sore injured ankle.

5.0 out of 5 stars. excellent so farVerified Buyer Reviewed by Pablito from GA on Wednesday, March 18, 2020only a few weeks in them; comfortable out of the box; dry feet through Canadian snow and Atlanta rain
they run a little small - order your normal size or a half size larger - I'm normally 9.5-10 and these 10's fit perfectly -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice bootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ken from Kennewick from Washington State on Wednesday, February 12, 2020I was looking for a lighter pair of hiking/backpacking boots (I have a heavier style of Asolo boots). These boots are taken some time to break in, but are gaining comfort with time. Ankle support is very good though, especially considering the weight. I have not tested the waterproof feature in the field yet, but have been pleased with my older Gore-Tex Asolos. I wear a size 10 in street shoes and ordered these in size 10.5 - about right with a spenco insole and medium weight wool sock. These may be good for a 5 rating; time will tell.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great fit, and light.Verified Buyer Reviewed by 14er's are done, on to 13er's from Kansas (KS) on Saturday, February 8, 2020Always loved my Asolo's for comfort. But they were on the heavy side. It seems they lost the vibram sole on this one and it is considerably lighter. Will see how good traction and durability is this climbing season.

5.0 out of 5 stars. AsoloVerified Buyer Reviewed by Trog from California on Tuesday, February 4, 2020Been wearing Asolo boots since 1978. The best [...] boots next to Chippewa. I like where there made. Very comfortable boot and they operate and look killer doing it.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Asolo HorizonVerified Buyer Reviewed by AJ from Pennsylvania on Saturday, February 1, 20204 stars only because I haven’t had them long enough to know how well they will hold up. Have had several pairs of Asolo Neutrons, but the last couple the bottom of the sole wore through and the rest of the boot was still in good condition. Hoping for better results with these
