New Hiker - Great ankle support but still great looking

I am new to hiking and only had outdoor shoes that I used for shore excursions on cruises that were ankle height and were fine as the excursions were all street terrain, maybe a few cobblestone roads and short uphills at most in Italy but that was it. I am starting to advance my hiking skills to longer distance and steeper climbs in rough terrain (rutted, narrow, rocky, steep) and knew those wouldn't cut it but I still wanted boots that weren't mannish. I invested in these and they do the job and still look pretty stylin'. I added a removable gel insert from a certain doctor and I was still able to run around and continue my day after the hike with no slowing down due to hurt feet.
