Great like hiker.

Shoes fit true to size and was comfortable from first lacing. Broke shoes in in the house, on off for couple days. First true test was a 11mile 8000 total vf day hike/approach. On way done had to get through some heavy scree. Soles alittle thin - minimulistic - for some of the small scree. Had to forge some 15 streams -- Gore-Tex worked. Feet stayed dry. Handled the scrambling well. Sole and foot bed just a little thin. Overall a great shoe. Looking forward to the next weekend hike.

- “Great shoes overall, a few things that I hope can help you with your own decisions: the sole by Vibram is not the soft squishy type, it's a bit hard, so I think it would withstand different terrain and elements and wearing them almost every other day they do require breaking in as I read from some reviewers that they did not really find it necessary, which I do differ in that after 2 weeks they are a little softer and not so rigid, perhaps another couple of weeks and they'll be perfect. I have worn them in light rain and seem to withstand the water. These shoes seem very well made and do stand apart from the average pair of hiking shoes.”
