5.0 out of 5 stars. Long live the bootsReviewed by Jake B, aka Hikerboy7 from Michigan on Monday, August 3, 2020These boots are great! I read the reviews myself when I bought my first pair. Four years later I am readying to buy my second. O am an avid outdoorsman and it took me this long to wear the soles down. Nothing g wrong with the test of it, just no reaction left. Thousands of miles I put on these boots. Well, at least hundreds. But still, through all terrains... desert to rainforest.. temperate forest to tundra... it took them all.
Be warned: these boots expand half a size. I bought mine as a 10.5, and now they are a very comfortable 11. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Great BootReviewed by Dave from Reno on Saturday, July 25, 2020I bought a pair of these 2013ish and I need to change due to lack of tread. The boots have held together very well there is not a single crack in the sole and no delamination. They are a little on the heavy side so I use them generally for overnight hikes when my pack is heavier and I need more support. I purchased a new pair and I was pleased to find out they are exactly the same as my old pair. Glad that Asolo did not fix something that is not broken.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great boots!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kent Drummond from Divide, Colorado on Sunday, July 19, 2020I have been wearing Asolo boots throughout my long hiking and climbing career. The Asolo last (shaping form) seems to be designed for my foot, so I can take a new pair out of the box and wear them comfortably. I usually get about 625 miles out of a pair, but my last ones have survived for about 1,500 miles. I always keep a new pair (in the box) in my closet, so I'm instantly ready when the current pair wears out.

5.0 out of 5 stars. My 3rd pair!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Alpineandrea from Washington on Friday, June 19, 2020I have size 11 feet so finding a Women’s boot that allows me to size up a little is impossible. In the past I ordered a variety of men’s boots trying to find one that was narrow enough and low volume to fit. While there still is a little bit more volume than I need, this fits the bill and I am now on my third pair. I snowshoe, backpack, and do alot of off trail hiking in these. They survive about 3 years with the rough terrain and mileage I put on them. By then I’ve worn the tread down and the area that bends on either side of the toe box splits. Under normal hiking conditions these would last much longer. I spend a lot of time traversing rough basalt scree slopes, but they hold up really well and give me the ankle support I need. This last round I actually bought two pairs to stockpile, because I’m not sure they’re going to continue making these as the only place I could find them was on sierra trading post. An excellent boot.

5.0 out of 5 stars. WinnerVerified Buyer Reviewed by Madogmax from Washington on Monday, June 15, 2020My second pair of Asolo boots. My foot is wider than average, and the first pair of boots were hard to get on and the pull straps on the back were too small to get my finger through. This pair is much better, easy to get on , comfortable, and the pull straps are longer too.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great bootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Trees from Ohio on Monday, May 25, 2020I wear these alomst every day... Actually I have 2 pairs of Neutron and I switch back and forth to let them dry between uses. Each pair lasts me about 3 years. I do tree work: climb trees (though for bigger climbs I have specific climbing boots), drag brush, dig holes, etc... They are very comfortable and durable. I've also done some hiking in them... Rim to rim in the Grand Canyon, for example and they did great.
