Yes. I've put gel insoles in my son's boots.

Yes, the insoles are removable. These boots are an excellent value for the money. I am as pleased with these, as my previous four pairs of Asolo boots.

Yes, they are removable. It is easier to remove them by prying on the instep side of the insole. Reach inside the boot, and pry on the right side of the insole of the left boot. To remove the insole from the right boot, pry on the left side of the insole. They are easily removed, and you can replace them with whatever is the most comfortable for your particular foot.

Yes, they are removable. I normally use Happy Feet insoles in my shoes, but so far after 3 hikes, I've found these boots with the Asolo insoles are great. Almost no break-in required, at least in my case.

Thanks all! I think I get it now since responses are not 100% in sync. It's not really meant to have a removable insole (not mentioned in description or specs), and may be lightly affixed (or not), but fairly easy to pull out and replace, or keep and add an arch support underneath it.

Sorry for not responding sooner. The answer is yes. The insoles can be removed, similar to a pair of basketball shoes. They appear to be adhering with a glue like sticky substance, but would not take much effort to remove.
