Good to go right out of the box, almost.

I bought these boots about 2 weeks ago and have about 18 miles into them. First, they are quite roomy in the toe box, beyond that they fit true to size.Second, the insole is weak and low volume, I replaced it with "Super Feet" "Orange" which works the best for my foot shape and the boot now fit perfectly. Third, the boots are quite comfortable and have begun to break in with zero hot spots. I've used them on some very steep terrain in the Pacific Northwest and the have very adequate traction and shock absorption. Fourth, they seem to breath well as i've been using them in hot weather summer hikes. Lastly they look really cool and the lacing system allows me to tighten and make some additional adjustments for descending. I believe the Asolo Neutron Boots are a solidly constructed pair of hiking boots and will give them five stars for coming out of the box this way except for the insoles, which I need to switch out of all my boots.
