ASOLO boots for 15 years

these were my newest (15?) pair. have worn most models primarily the fsn-95's. these though stiffer should wear longer and are more protective on the rocky trails here in the North Cascades, Alaska, and the Northwest including Glacier National Park. I wear orthotic inserts and the wide models have always felt like wearing gloves on my feet. Short break-in and by my third hike on a climbers trail and fording rushing glacial streams and the steep ridges of Mt. Baker, they performed beautifully in some hairy situations. I am placing an order for another pair. they also look great.
PS I always flex the material above the heel-cup with my thumbs to break them in and wear liners under my merino wool socks.
