Great boots for lighter hikes, but not tough terrains

I own 4 pairs of Asolo hiking boots and the Piuma is very different than the other boots. True to its claim, I do feel that the boots mold themselves to my feet. But the softer materials used here also make them less comfortable when hiking on rough terrain, because you can feel the tree roots, gravel and pebbles under your feet. But on maintained trails, these boots without a stiff sole are the perfect compromise between comfort and trackability.
