I have a D width foot and I ordered the regular. I was concerned about it too but, these boots fit really well. Unless you have an extra wide foot, order the regular.

I do not know the exact measurement difference between the two, but I chose the wide width after trying on similiar Asolo boots at different outdoor shops. If you have this option then I suggest that. I have what is considered a wide foot and the wide fit my foot much better. The Newer Powermatic(200) is a similar cut boot. I could not find it in the wide anywhere but found another similar Asolo boot that came in wide and felt that the extra width made a big difference. It allowed me to order a 10.5 instead of an 11. They are a great feeling boot. I have been out on two hikes and they felt good. They replaced a 40 year old pair of Raichle's.
