I love my Asolo 100's. Before I bought them I also compared them to the 200's. Not much difference at all is what I found. Same movement in the sole, same quality and I saved more than 100 dollars. I have used them for the last three months volunteering on the AT rebuilding trail and hiking. My feet never got wet and I never obtained one blister, not one, and they were brand new when I started. I think it is an excellent boot. Before I bought them I compared them to Lowa, Solomon and a couple of others. Most of the others said they were water proof but the reviews said they were not, also the other boots did not have the flexibility of the Asolo. I am 57, done a lot of hiking and I'm afraid I have to say this but they really are the best boot I have ever worn. Hope that helps.
