Good So Far with the right socks

I've worn sock liners and my feet get sweatier as I'm backpacking. So I use a Smartwool hiking sock alone which gives me more room for swelling feet. My left foot is almost 11.5 and my right foot is 11 so i end up always getting 11.5 boots/shoes. I get the medium width always as my feet fit in Vasque boots which are know to be narrow. I bought a 11.5 Asolo Power Matic 100 -- fits snug and my toes aren't bumping and can play the piano. I can wear two hiking socks if need be but there wouldn't be much room for swelling feet. The toe box is narrow and wish it was a little bit bigger but no problem considering they are new boots and I wear one pair of hiking socks. Overall-Two Thumbs Up if the tread does not go balled soon like the Asolo FSN.
