Daughter complained no padding in footbedVerified Buyer Reviewed by John from South Jersey on Monday, July 2, 2018She said send these back, footbed too hard
liked the color, butVerified Buyer Reviewed by mdz in Mt from Montana on Thursday, February 22, 2018I have these same shoes in brown, I've had for 2 years. But they just didn't feel the same? I have to say, Asolo sizing is not consistent, I've tried ordering other ones, but can't get the size right. And I'm always a solid 8 with most shoes. Also, for it being a closeout, It's a little pricey. I sent them back.
Great boots!Verified Buyer Reviewed by hiketwin from Adirondacks, NY on Friday, July 21, 2017I have other Asolo boots, but these are the first of this style. I wore them on an 8 mile mostly level, wet hike and they did great! They stayed waterproof in the muck and were very comfortable.
Great bootReviewed by Deb from Georgia on Tuesday, May 16, 2017Bought these boots because I needed some firm foot support. Straight out of the box they were comfortable enough to wear for a 12-hour shift. I have a high arch, so the arch support could've been just a bit higher, (though I do recognize most people won't need quite as much arch support as I do). Since I've started wearing these boots, the pain in my feet and ankles has been greatly reduced. I can't comment on the efficacy for hiking, I can only say they are a very lightweight but greatly supportive boot I am greatful I have found.
ComfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by AM from California on Friday, March 17, 2017They fit me well - I have a narrow foot.
I've only worn them a couple of times - so far they've kept my feet dry. If they stay water proof over time I'll give them 5 stars.
not the typical asoloReviewed by mo from ABQ on Thursday, March 9, 2017I've been wearing Asolo shoes/boots for years. Typically they are the brand that perfectly match the contour of my feet and are of really great quality lasting for years of use. These boots are the exception. They just look lower quality and the fit is very off. With thick socks they are OK but I'm disappointed. I hope this is not the start of a new trend.
I love the fit, but not much stability in soleReviewed by OutdoorGal from NY on Sunday, July 3, 2016I have long, narrow feet, with high arches. I always have a hard time finding shoes and boots that fit well, so I was super excited that these did! I've worn them for several hikes and backing trips and don't get blisters or hotspot...BUT they cause me plantar fasciitis. I'm very active and I first thought it was just a fluke or too many miles one week, but after several weeks recovering, I used them again, and boom...PF again. The sole has quite a lot of torsion. I can't recommend them. My running shoes are better for my arches, even hiking.
Cute boot but not the most supportive aroundVerified Buyer Reviewed by Rainey from Northwest on Saturday, May 7, 2016Looks good. Sadly, I had to return. This boot may be great for someone who does not need a lot of support. I may have to get a backpacking boot to get the support I want.
