Not for skiing

These are fine for short term use such as scraping off the car, etc. However, I wore them downhill skiing and my hands were NOT kept warm in 16 degree weather like I thought they would be. They don't seem to breathe and so my hands were cold and clammy. I also am not sure how windproof they are, but my discomfort may just be due to the fact that they don't breathe and therefore my hands got wet. My thumbs in particular were absolutely freezing. I will be looking for some other sort of breathable mittens for skiing.
