Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Warm mittenVerified Buyer Reviewed by Rick from N. MI on Sunday, January 21, 2018I ordered these as work mittens for outside shoveling snow etc. Very warm and price was right. Only complaint, I ordered the large and they are a little tight. Not enough to send back but a little tight to pull on and off.
Poor DesignReviewed by Mountain Hiker from Wyoming on Friday, January 5, 2018The materials used in the shell do not breathe, so perspiration builds inside the mittens. Moisture makes the mittens less warm. Moist fleece lining grabs skin, making the mittens almost impossible to get on and off. And after a hike, the mittens simply won't dry. This is a well built product from a manufacturer whose products have served me well in the past and they feel comfortable when tried on in the store, but they quite simply don't work when worn.
Warm and CozeyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Michael from Mountains from Oregon on Wednesday, October 18, 2017They're warm because of the Thinsulate and cozy because of the softness of the fleece lining. But, I haven't used them yet, so I can't comment on their durability. Still, I feel they were a good buy and I expect long service out of them. I will use them for winter backpacking.

“Just want to make sure these are true mittens, and don't have finger inserts inside? Last time I ordered a pair of mittens from STP, they had a liner that turned them into gloves inside (which negates the warming quality of having your fingers all together in a mitten) even though it wasn't listed in the description. Thanks!”
Yep, they're true mittens.
Yes, these are mittens.
