I am 5'3'' , 125 lbs and size 4 fits me like a glove.
It does sit below the waist, but not much and is not a problem for me.
A simple yet elegant pair of shorts that can be dressed up with a nice silk shirt
or look casual with a cotton T-shirt. Well made, but I didn't wash it yet.

I am usually a long 6, and in these, the 8 fit just right. Good quality fabric, and styled with a little pizzazz. If the rise were longer in front, I'd rate these a 5.
