Nice fleece leggings for under ski pants or running

These are good quality leggings for wearing under ski pants (Avalanche did name these "Mogul"). They are thicker and more substantial than other fleece leggings I've tried. For example, out of the package these look like regularly sized baselayer bottoms, vs. the Terramar Heavy Footless Leggings, also sold by STP, which look tiny and then stretch substantially when worn). I think they'd also be fine for the description's other suggested use – running on a brisk day. They have enough rise and length to stay in place, and a sporty seam down the pant legs adds some design flair.

Those same seams, though, were not ideal for the less adventurous uses that I had these in mind for. My favorite baselayers' minimal/flat seams allow for great comfort even when I'm wearing several layers. These leggings are not ideal for layering with other baselayers, but would be perfectly fine on their own (or under a looser top layer, like ski pants). Since those are the recommended uses, and since these are nice leggings for a good price, it seems fair to give them the full five stars.
