I would not call these boot cut more of a straight leg. These will be good when the weather turns color for hiking or outside work. I am 5'4" weight 115 lbs.

The fabric is a little heavier than I was expecting, but that wouldn't be a problem. The waist is too big, though. My waist is 10 inches smaller than my hips if that helps. Wearing a belt would just make the fabric bunch up around my waist. Since I got these on sale for a great price, I'm not sure it would be worth it to send them back. I may try to find someone who can wear them.

Don't normally wear a 32 inch inseam but the length is great (just checked with a tape measure and they are 30.5 inch.) These are an exact fit to a pair of Aventura corduroys I bought 10 yeas ago and still wear. Waist is below belly button, fit hangs on hips, not snug anywhere, nicely tapered legs (a straight-leg fit.) Weight is a medium-weight canvas but not stiff. Like these ALOT.

Unfortunately, the fabric bags out horribly as soon as you sit down and get back up. It looks as if you've got water balloons in your pockets. Even after washing and drying fabric could not hold its shape. Going a size down will not help.
