The entrees in this bundle are great, especially the curry. You can get the breakfasts and sides at a health food store for much cheaper, so the value to me is not great...but many of my hiking friends really like the convenience of these (and similar) meals. I'm glad STP has a vegetarian combo pack... Read More

I didn't expect gourmet food and for the convenience it worked well. Since freeze dried pre-packaged meals tend to be expensive, this is a good way to sample on a budget. Other than the breakfast meals & mashed potatoes everything else was good. Deserts were yummy... cheesecake and mouse was more like a thick pudding. Apple cobbler was just Yummy. LOL As for breakfast, I ended up donating my breakfast meals to other hikers (powdered milk tasted weird-plain granola would have been better). I would not purchase this package again. I would just purchase the meals that I liked. **To be fair, I don't like any other brand of "instant" mashed potatoes

My 22 yr old daughter, 25 yr old son and I purchased this and 2 boxes of the meat version for our recent trip to Olympic Nat'l Park, Mount Rainier and Columbia River Gorge 12 days. The price of these boxes was a steal! Each item averaged out to about $2.50. Every one of the products was delicious. There were 3 of us so we added in some bread as filler and with the meal, side dish and dessert we were more than filled using just 1 pkg, even though it was labeled as feeding 2 people. I highly recommend these meals. Most of them were just add water and only a couple needed to actually be cooked. (We had previously had the biscuits and gravy that was just add water and liked it. When we made these biscuits and gravy where you actually made the biscuits, we were in heaven!)
