My Go-To socksReviewed by ajfugue from Nebraska on Monday, December 12, 2016I'm an ultra marathon runner and these are my go-to cold weather socks. I've run hundreds of miles with this model sock in temperatures from the upper teens to forties in dry and snow and they performed admirably. The wool blend makes them great at temperature regulation in the swings of conditions of a 38 mile winter run I just did while the synthetic elastic material keeps them from moving on the foot which helps prevent blisters. 38 blister free miles in December, can't ask for a better test. They mohair makes them a bit rougher than pure merino, but also seems to make them more durable which is very nice for the miles I put on them. They are too thin for extreme cold around zero, but I think you could double them up no problem with their elasticity. I just ordered more, highly recommended.
Tight cuffVerified Buyer Reviewed by LVSciGuy from PA on Tuesday, November 15, 2016XL sock fits well on a size twelve foot except for cuff which is tight. May loosen with wear of this sturdy sock.
super snazzy socksVerified Buyer Reviewed by Blarb the Hiking Viking from washington and pennsylvannia on Thursday, October 27, 2016socks are great. not super heavy or thick especially on the top where all the snazzy exists but great for day hikes in the fall.
