2.0 out of 5 stars. Hard to put onVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mtnlou from GA on Tuesday, August 28, 2018These have a very tight elastic gusset and are not actually lace-ups. They seem about a half size small and the back loop is too small to be useful in putting them on.

4.0 out of 5 stars. I like themVerified Buyer Reviewed by Amanda M. from Northern NY on Thursday, August 2, 2018They go on your feet weird, but once they are on, they are comfortable and protect your feet. They look nice but it's great they are sneakers in disguise for the active work I do on a day to day basis. The tongue of the shoe isn't moveable so they can be water-proof.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great!Reviewed by Sarah from NYC on Wednesday, July 25, 2018I bought these shoes for a trip to Iceland and didn't want to spend a fortune as I knew they would take a beating. I brought them with me and wore them out of the box on the first day. We walked 24,000+ steps and I had no problems. I wore them for 6 days straight, through water, mud, rocks, sand and never had any leaks, cracks, or stones in my shoes. Would definitely recommend!

3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice color, but tightVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ruth from CA on Monday, July 9, 2018Just like what the other reviewers has said. Very hard to fit in it. You have to sweat to get in the shoes.

1.0 out of 5 stars. These are going back!Verified Buyer Reviewed by JuniorGoddess from East Cupcake, TX on Thursday, July 5, 2018There is no separate tongue, so I can’t get my foot in there. If you have narrow feet, it might work, but the ones I got (taupe with navy and hot pink) aren’t going to work for me. Not sure how you could get these on with socks, either.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Fun style, a little stiffVerified Buyer Reviewed by Bizzy Mama from California on Wednesday, June 20, 2018I get compliments on these shoes whenever I wear them! Look great with tight leggings or loose jeans/pants. A little boxy fit and hard soles but that is why I bought them. I've been having some metatarsal problems so the stiff sole paired with rocking toe shape feels great. Neoprene sock liner can be a little hot, so I tend to either wear with super short light socks, or on cold days. I like that neoprene doesn't bind and easy to slip these shoes on, or tighten laces when needed.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Better than expectedReviewed by Alpenglow from Chicago on Saturday, April 21, 2018In spite of the negative reviews I decided to take a chance on these shoes and was pleasantly surprised. I am not into vanity brands but like quality. I am an 8.5 or 39 European shoe size so I bought the 9 and the fit was great. The neoprene does mean they fit snugly, but there are two tabs on the front and back (like boots) to help you pull them on. I didn't struggle and after a couple of wearings they got even easier to put on. The neoprene did not seem to make my feet sweaty even after a long walk or a day wearing them. I got the plaid which looks great and seems to have water resistant coating. It was nice that they didn't assume that all women want pink and purple shoes. The suede on the toe and heel gets a little fuzzier with wear. It is not the cushiest insole, but perfectly fine when I was on my feet all day. If you have a very high arch there might not be enough support. I wore these on several hikes right out of the box with no chafing. The one thing that might annoy people is the metal tips on the shoe laces click while walking. I tucked mine into the lacing and there was no noise. They'll definitely be a cute pair of shoes for low key hikes and walks.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Got Shoe Horn?Reviewed by Barbour lover from Idaho on Tuesday, January 23, 2018These shoes are darling--TO LOOK AT! If you're competing with one of Cinderella's stepsisters, this is the shoe for you. The pictures are misleading; the shoelaces are simply a decorative feature and serve no practical or useful purpose. The foot opening is so tight you really do need a shoe horn to get in them, and this opening is not adjustable. Forget about it if you have manicured fingernails. On the other hand, you'll burn a ton of calories while you sweat to force your foot into the hole. Hope you're not in any hurry to get out the door because you're not just slipping these bad boys on. Unless you have a very narrow foot, don't bother. It's a frustrating workout! I was so looking forward to this delivery, and am mightily disappointed to return them. Size 8W. I will add, though, I did finally get in, and they fit fine, but getting there is just too much to ask.
