Although I usually use 60 m. ropes, the price on these 50s was too good to pass up.

  • good, light rope

    Pros:
Really nice and light for doing alpine routes
    Double dry
Sheath is pretty durable for a small rope

    Cons:
Really stiff and slick out of the gate - needed an autoblock for raps and belays the first few times I used it
Rope had a penchant for tangles. Like all day for three straight days.
    No middle marker. What?

    Other:
Super thin - I had to add an extra go around in my prusik knots when doing glacier rigs.

  • Very good rope

Excellent rope. Light, very little to no water absorption after days on glacial ice and soft snow and easy t work. My girls like the color.
