Very nice, great value

I've owned a Bell Volt and this is similar, but it is a step up in some details. Its lighter by about an ounce and while the Bell full/round shape, this is just a bit smaller than the Volt, bit only a small amount, I use a large Volt and same on the gage.

I will not be using mine until next spring - I tend to use older and heavier gear off season = so cannot comment on ventilation (but it looks quite good) or comfort on long rides. Fit is personal, but as others have said, Bell runs a bit rounder inside, than others such as Giro.

Sierra's price was great, and the only "All New" helmet technology id MIPS, which seems to have hardly caught on - I have never seen anyone wearing a MIPS helmet. Perhaps its the price or many seem very hot and with very poor ventilation, given the extra layer. Also, as 1 cyclist comment suggested, the "tech" of MIPS is merely an extra layer with very low tech rubber legs. perhaps wearing a helmet liner/hat (summer or winter weight) would do nearly as much.

Hard to tell....

Regardless, the Gage is a very nice helmet.
