Maybe an oversight on STP side. I don't know. I.still like them mind you. Other one is that the seam on the back where the stripes meet is slightly off. Maybe tenth of a millimeter. It took me a couple of glances to notice it. Seam is center of back calf so no way anyone would ever see it but full disclosure.

Even at a deep discount ..is a questionable purchase.
Nice colors... but quality ends there.
Would 'send them back' them but return postage makes that impractical.
