I couldn't be happier with this pillow! It offers me exactly what I need while sleeping. Finally I'm getting a good night's sleep! You can adjust how full you inflate it depending on how high you want your head. It hugs my head perfectly to help me get a full night's sleep.
Reviewed by Steve from America on Wednesday, March 5, 2014This pillow is almost like being at home in the bed. It cradles your head yet packs up super small
Reviewed by Backpacker from NYC on Saturday, February 8, 2014I really wanted to like this pillow, but had to return it. It inflates quite big/high and stays that way throughout a night. I was too big for me. It fits in a sleeping bag's hood (Marmot Snowcrest), but I could not cinch it then. Once in a hood it also interfered with a bag's collar (which I had to use at 25F). I couldn't use it on top of my sleeping pad (Therm-a-Rest NeoAir Xlite) either since all surfaces(bag, pad, pillow) are slick and the pillow is pushed away.
I may work well with Big Agnes bags, but didn't work for me. That night I used my sweater as my pillow instead.
Reviewed by RIDGERUNNER from Knoxville, TN on Tuesday, January 21, 2014Some people say, just roll up or jacket or other clothing for a pillow. I have, and it is not comfortable. The clothing is not soft for me and I wake up with a stiff neck. But, the air pillow can be adjusted for softness, sore neck gone. A piece of clothing over the pillow works just fine. Pillow is packs small and is light.
Reviewed by CP Colorado from Colorado on Monday, December 16, 2013The curved shape allows for a perfect fit in the hood of a mummy sleeping bag, no sliding around. Don't know if I would pay $35 retail, but I'll take it at the STP price all day.
